What's Happening?
T.V. Turn Off Week just ended!
We had a blast at the Barnes & Noble bookfair on Monday; painted rocks and cleaned up the school courtyard on Tuesday; had dinner with the family at Culver's on Wednesday; worked out with Pumps Fitness on Thursday; then hung out with friends at Valplayso and Kona Ice on Friday!
Staff Appreciation Week
Staff appreciation week is coming up from May 7th to May 11th. Let's SPOIL our staff to show them how much we appreciate how much they do for us every day! We love all of our teachers, aides, and support staff at Memorial!
Final PTO Meeting
The last PTO meeting of the year will be held on Wednesday, May 9th at 3:30 p.m. There will be no school on Tuesday due to Election Day, so the PTO meeting was moved as well. President and Treasurer positions will be open for the 2018 to 2020 term. Vice-President position is available for the 2018-2019 term. Anyone that is interested, open elections will be held at that time.
Ice Cream Social
We will be having an Ice Cream Social on May 10th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. to welcome our new Memorial families. There will be ice cream, a scavenger hunt and new friends to meet! We will also be having a raffle to give away an American Girl doll and passes to Zigees Fun Land!!
Family Dinner Night
Tuesday, May 15th take advantage of Chipotle's generosity and don't cook! They will donate a portion of their proceeds back to the PTO when you bring in your flier (or mention you are there for the Memorial fundraiser)
Volunteer Luncheon
If you were a committee chair or a head room parent this year, we want to thank you for your service by inviting you to a luncheon in your honor on May 24th at 12 p.m.
